Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Day one of the Atlanta underclassman camp was filled with hardworking kids ready to gain exposure. Though the numbers were not huge, the talent level was off the charts.  Kids from Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama all came to showcase their skill and mix it up together.  But the biggest surprise was from Virginia, 6-foot-7 face up four Armando Bacot.  Armando came from Virginia sporting a high offensive skill set.  He proved he can score both in the post and knock down jump shots with consistency.  Armando will be traveling with Team Takover this summer.

Other Standouts:

Drue Drinnon, 2018 CG,- The last time we saw Drinnon he was talking home MVP honors at the Elite 24 Camp.  He started every game his Freshman year while averaging over 20 points per game. Today he picked up where he left off, knocking down threes at will while attacking the basket.  He has gotten more explosive and is extremely crafty with the ball.  This top 25 player nationally did not disappoint today.

Rahul Das 2019 SF,- Rahul biggest attribute is that he pays with a high motor.  He got every rebound and loose ball in his vicinity.  He played the passing lane and created deflections that led to steals.  His work on defense led to most of his scoring, but did show that he can shoot out to 18 feet consistently.

True Ransom 2019 SG,- True is truly a shooter.  He has short-term memory which allows him to get up shot after shot.  He has seen better shooting days, but he did get some to go down.  Doesn't need much room to get his shot off.

Andrew McConnell 2021 PG,- Being one of the younger campers, Andrew started off with his nerves getting the best of him.  When he settled down and realized it is just basketball he found his comfort zone.  McConnell started raining three's from everywhere.  A few times he was four or five steps behind the line.

Kaleb Jenkins 2020 PG,- Jenkins is a smooth lefty with a nice stroke.  He had a few plays that wowed the crowd with crafty hesitation moves.  He used elite moves to either create space or go by his man.  Had a very productive day.
