Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- The Future150 camp season concluded this weekend in Gardendale, AL, where the top prospects from past camps converged on Gardendale High School for the Future150 All American Camp. While the camp is typically aimed at sophomores and juniors, there were a handful of talented 2019 and 2020 prospects on hand.

The winning camp team this weekend, Team Duke, featured 2019 SG Terry Clardy, Jr. from Conway, AR. Clardy more than held his own against the older competition, shooting and scoring well throughout the weekend. Team Duke's big man for the event was 2020 prospect Demetrius Huff, who impressed all of the Future150 staff with rebounding and work down low.

2019 PG Kevin Fulton of Jonesboro, AR had an excellent showing all weekend. His high motor and toughness helped him shine. Fellow Jonesboro native Kortez Hamilton (2019, SG) also had a breakout camp and showed excellent touch on his shot. Both Fulton and Hamilton were aggressive scorers all weekend.

One of the top local 8th grade prospects - Pauly Stramaglia of Mountain Brook - had a good weekend playing point guard. When his confidence was high, he was a great passer and started to show that he could attack his defender off the dribble.

Arguably the top Future150 Junior prospect in attendance was 2019 SF Mason Ellison from Huntsville, AL. Ellison reminded me of a younger Kelly Oubre in the way he attacked and finished in traffic. Ellison used his excellent body control to bounce around defenders and always finished strong around the rim. Ellison has the athleticism to play at the top level of college basketball as long as his shooting continues to improve.
