Greensboro, NC (Future150) -- Saturday included several big commitments to some of the top schools in the country, but the first commitment of the day was made by a lesser-known player.
After an official visit to Furman over the weekend, Christian Hairston (Class of 2013, Greensboro Day, NC) made his verbal to the Paladins.
"It just felt right," Hairston explained when asked about his commitment. "It felt right in every area."
As a 6-foot-7 long athlete, Hairston could be a steal down the road for Jeff Jackson's squad. He has begun to take some nice strides in his game, and that should continue for the next few years.
Hairston was also considering Elon University, among other schools.
