Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- 2019 G/F Donovan Gregory of Northside Christian (NC) had a big time freshman year, and could see more attention on the national level this AAU season running with Team United's 15u team on the Nike EYBL circuit.

"I leanred to play more relaxed and calm, and that high school ball is NOTHING like middle school," Gregory said. "I realized I had to play hard at all times because there is always someone trying to get your minutes."

Gregory is a 6'4 wing, with a special motor and toughness to his game. His defense and rebounding abilities are special for a freshman at his position. His main weaknesses, for the most part, have been his jumper and ball-handling. He has improved greatly on both of these aspects, and is slowly becoming a complete player, which is scary considering he still has three years to keep improving.

Playing with Team United 15u this summer, Gregory will be going up against some of the best young talent in the nation. This is usually an even tougher task than playing varsity basketball right after middle school. There are some goals Gregory has in mind that he wants to accomplish while running on the circuit this summer.

"I really want my team to win the EYBL this year," Gregory said. "I want to play more aggressive and get in better shape this summer."

Gregory will certainly be one to keep an eye on among the 15u teams on the EYBL this spring and summer. Continue to follow along with Future150 as we track his progress within his game and recruitment.
