Memphis, TN (Future150) -- 2015 Memphis (Tenn.) Southwind wing Donte Fitzpatrick is still surfing under the radar from a national perspective. However, he is still one of the more talented prospects in the Southeast.
Fitzpatrick currently holds offers from Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas, Wichita State, and UT-Martin, along with interest from Clemson, Florida State, and UAB. While that list is expected to grow, four schools have positioned themselves very well early in his recruitment.
“Memphis, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Wichita State,” he told Future150.com. “Those are the schools sticking out.”
With his length and athleticism, the 6-foot-5 wing would fit in perfectly with any of the aforementioned programs. Fitzpatrick excels at scoring in transition and getting to the basket. It is only fitting that he is looking for a program of those characteristics.
“I’m looking for a school with a running system and someone that will look out for me after basketball.”
Fitzpatrick will run with the Arkansas Wings on the AAU circuit this year.
Expect him to make some noise come AAU season.
