Hampton, VA (Future150) -- Tyree Robinson is a two-sport star, not only is he a talented guard but he is also a talented wide receiver as well. While his twin brother Tyrell was less clear about what sport he would rather pursue in college, Tyree has his mind made up.
"Basketball," He said with a smile. It will be hard to turn down numerous offers for football but the talented swingman claims offers from the entire Pac-12 minus Utah. He also says Virginia Tech had been in contact with him before the coaching change.
He runs with the Oakland Soldiers, one of the top teams on the EYBL circuit. When asked about his play this past weekend he replied, "With Aaron out, I feel like it's up to me to step up and be more of a scorer, we really missing having him out there but I know we're still a good team. We came out a fought hard this weekend,"
While Robinson maintains that he will try to play both sports at the next level, it is always tough on student-athletes to play both basketball and football. Luckily for Robinson he already has his mind made up, which is good for the PAC-12 and other programs.
