Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- The Future150 alumni base continued to grow in a mighty way over the summer and early fall. Here are five prospects from the Carolinas who we expect to jump onto the radar over the course of this coming high school and AAU season.

Brandon Ellington, 2019 SG, Community School of Davidson (NC): Ellington came to Future150's "The Summit" Camp as a virtual unknown, but left as a camp all-star. Checking in at nearly 6'3", he has solid size on the wing and has a beautiful stroke on his jumper. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor and slash the lane, and is a great rebounder at his position. He is a clear-cut DII prospect at this point, but has some considerable upside.

Jacobi Wright, 2021 CG, York Prep Academy (SC): Even though he was among the youngest prospects at Future150's Southeast Regional Camp, he was still a easy choice once it was time to pick the all-star teams. A phenomonal slasher, Wright can get to the rim on command, and has a very high IQ for a guard who just officially entered his first high school season. As he continues to develop more of a jumper, he should end up as one of the premier Palmetto State prospects in the 2021 class.

Omarion Jay, 2020 PF, Northern Durham (NC): Arguably having the most impressive measurments of the entire camp season, checking in at 6'8" and garnering a 7-foot wingspan, Jay is a physically dominant force in the paint and is a ridiculous finisher above the rim. His size, athleticism, high motor, and upper-body strength alone give him potential to be a high-major prospect. Once he adds in a few go-to post moves to his game, he could be unstoppable. There should be some offers on his list very, very soon.

Dean Reiber, 2020 CF, Northwest Guilford (NC): Reiber's upside is through the roof and his upcoming sophomore season under Coach Reavis at NW Guilford could lead to a huge breakout. Standing a tad over 6-foot-8, he has a versatile skill set and can play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. His vision and playmaking abilities at his size are something college coaches marvel at. Reiber should no-doubt have a few offers to his name before the 2017-18 season comes to a close.

Jabril McCormick, 2019 SF, Hough (NC): McCormick is a quiet prospect on and off the floor, but he lets his game speak for himself. He has good measureables for a small forward at the division one level standing at 6'6", and obtaining a 6'10" wingspan. His long, lanky frame allows him to finish at unique angles when slashing to the rim and gives him a very hard jump shot to defend. A great rebounder and shot blocker as a three, it makes him a no-brainer LM+ prospect at this point.
