Houston, TX (Future150) -- Since February Future150 has virtually lived in the Texas/Oklahoma region looking for potential college hoopers. The states have produced some great players in the last three years and that trend is not changing a bit.
Check out five players from this past weekend that have very realistic college aspirations.
Look no further than the Franchize All-Stars AAU program, who has produced DeAngelo Harrison (St. John's) and Joe Burton of Oklahoma St. They participated this past weekend in the Clutch City Classic and who do we see out there playing, the younger brother of Joe Burton, 2018 SG Jevon Burton. Jevon has long arms and a good size frame. He can flat shoot the 3-ball just like his older brother which landed him a D1 scholarship. His ability to guard multiple positions and handle the ball well makes him an intriguing prospect. He was instrumental in leading his team deep in the tournament and playing solid all weekend long.
College Projection to date: Low to Mid Major DI
The biggest surprise we saw this past weekend was PF Aziz Fadika of the Texas Inferno Black. At 6-foot-7 inches and 205 pounds, he might be undersized to be a true post, but he does all the little things that it takes to win. Fadika is a good rebounder and runs the floor extremely well. His best attribute is shot blocking ability, which kept players from attacking the rim.
College Projection to date: High DII to Low Major DI
One of the most consistent players we say all weekend long was SF Chris Simms of the Franchize All-Stars. At 6-foot-4 inches, he was extremely active on both ends of the floor. His athleticism is what stands out at this point, and his ability to post up smaller players is strong. Simms has a great feel for the game and loves scoring on the break. As he starts the transition to shooting the rock from the 3-point line more, look for him to become a better scoring threat outside of slashing to the basket.
College Projection to date: NAIA to DII
When you think about all the intangibles a basketball player needs just look at a picture of SF Tavion Robinson of Faction Basketball. He stands 6-foot-5 and 155 pounds. He is rangy, wiry, and has super long arms, which he uses to his advantage when attacking the rim and defending. As he gets stronger, look for him to finish at the rim more authoritatively.

One of the more well rounded PG's we saw on the weekend was a 2015 product that played for the Houston Kings 17U. His name is Malcolm Charles and boy can he score in bunches. The 5-foot-10 inch guard is hell on wheels with the ball in his hands and can score from anywhere on the floor. On Sunday in the second half, he went on a scoring barage of 3-point baskets which helped get his team within striking distance. Competitor, heart and winner are three words that describe his game.
