Dallas, TX (Future150) -- Future150 was at the Primetime EYB Classic in Dallas and it showcased some high level talents.  Many were familiar to Future150 because they competed at previous Primetime events.

High School

DFW Elite's success on Saturday was thanks to 2016 teammates Melvin Joiner and Jabari Richardson. Joiner is a physical guard that is a problem once he gets into the lane. Richardson is a freak athlete that will dunk on the defender with any space he gets in the lane. Both excelled in points in the paint on Saturday.

Class of 2016 guard Derek St. Hilaire played at a high level. The 5'10" point guard that plays for Southern Stampede (GA) displayed his excellent transition vision, pull-up jumper and athleticism as he finished alley-oops with dunks. His teammate Jovahn Dunham controlled the paint defensively and his length helped bother shots and collect many rebounds.

360 Basketball had a trio of players that led the team to two convincing wins on Saturday with 2015 forwards Bruce McCain, LeRyan Glover and 2016 guard J.T. Brown.  McCain is skilled in the paint with an array of up to keep the defender honest. He also shoots the ball well from three and finishes well inside with either hand. Glover is very physical and has a nice consistent pull-up jumper. He finishes very well when he drives and spins off his defender for a layup or floater. Brown is a high-volume scorer that has great elevation on his jump shot which helps him make shots consistently. No doubt Brown was one of the best guards in the high school division.

The 16u matchup of the Oklahoma Suns and Southern Stampede was close and exciting to watch.

For the Suns, 2017 guards Mason Turner and Quantrel Jackson played huge, although their team fell short.  Turner scores well with floaters and has a nice jumper from 15-20 feet. Jackson is a great ball handler that breaks down his defenders and gets into the lane. He finishes well inside because he likes absorb contact.

Gary Bishop (2017) was key to his team's victory as he scored in bunches for the Stampede.  He used his great strength to post up smaller guards. Bishop is a good passer in the half-court setting and is good at setting up his teammates with open looks in transition.

Out of Australia, 2016 Laat Gak is a stretch post that can put the ball on the floor and create for himself. Gak is a smooth player that never forces the issue and finds his spots on the floor to score and impact the game.

Middle school

Team Texas 2020 played in the middle school game of the day against Memphis Elite in the seventh grade division.Attacker Kendural Jolly is a quick guard that sees himself at the line a lot.  Post Kameron Waites is a wide body big that uses his size well to get rebounds and create space for shots. Fairly skilled in the paint too, Waites has an effective drop step once he gets the ball in the post.

Memphis Elite guard Harrison Kelly was amazing as he scored 30 points against Team Texas.  of those 30, 18 came from behind the arc. Sometimes he was shooting from about 25 feet and was just incredible.

Class of 2019 guard Devlen Woods of the Tyler Spurs played very well on Saturday, especially against Xpress Black.  He was on from the three point line and finished well inside.  Woods recently improved in these facets.

Texas Champions 2019 guards Sayvon Frye and Daniel Garza had  a good showing as Frye is a big guard that is unselfish with the ball.

He knows when to score or create for others, which is great to see for someone that age. Garza is a very crafty player that uses euro steps and a different array of finishes to get his shot off over bigger players.
