The city of Houston has always churned out high-major talent, and the class of 2017 doesn't appear to buck that trend. Jarred Vanderbilt isn't exactly the normal high school junior, and he leads the pack for his class in the city.
Ranked at #4 in the Future150 national rankings, he's proved his elite status by more than holding his own again fellow elite prospects on the Nike EYBL circuit for the past two seasons. Like most prospects who start off highly rated early in their careers, Vanderbilt understands that he needs to work on his game to be successful.
