Huntsville, AL (Future150) -- When you think big time scorers in the 2013 class you might think Aaron Harrison, James Young or Jabari Parker. The most unlikely suspect would be 6-foot-2 inch scoring machine Detrick Mostella from Decatur, Alabama. He might be the best scorer in the class, which is full of players who can score.
If you were to take a look at him walking around in the gym, the first thing you would notice that he has a slight frame and is pidgeon toed. Dont let that fool you or he will make you his next victim in his highlight reel dunks.
Last time we saw Mostella play was at the Peach State in Augusta, Geogria. He was scoring 38 points and dunking on his opponents in a big way. He had the highlight of the tournament when he caught an alley-oop from Justin Pride on the fast break while putting the defender in the rim.
After talking with his AAU Coach, Future150 learned that Oklahoma State was one of schools who recruited him the hardest. Mostella fell in love with head coach Travis Ford and felt like it was the best fit for him to succeed.
He becomes the 3rd member of the class for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Mostella becomes the 1st nationally ranked player that they have landed for 2013.
