Hinesville, GA (Future150) -- For a freshman, the offer list reads like a dream come true for any young football prospect, but for Richard LeCounte of Liberty County High School (GA), it is no dream.
Auburn, Alabama, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida and Ohio State have all already offered the phenom, with many more offers to come over the following years.
The 6-foot-1 cornerback/safety on the football field is coined as an "athlete" among recruiting analysts because of his ability to play multiple positions on the field. However, not only can he play several positions, but he is a standout on the basketball court as well.
He proved that this past August at the Future150 Elite 24 Camp in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was selected as an Elite 24 All-Star for the 2017 class.
The shooting guard was knocking down shots the entire weekend and displaying his athleticism to everyone in attendance, including other top rated national recruits from his class, a testament to how truly athletic LeCounte is.
"Richard was extremely impressive at Elite 24 Camp. His athleticism was unparalleled, and his shooting is what really set him apart. On top of all that, he was having the most fun of anyone, encouraging teammates and being a leader. It's evident he's a special kid," Future150 Midwest Analyst Adam Barnes said.
Expect the football star to continue to dazzle onlookers over the coming years, just like he did with us in August.
