Queens, NY (Future150) -- Over the past year, the Lincoln Railsplitters have gone through plenty of changes.
Dwanye Morton has returned from Seton Hall and taken back over the program. With a couple of new players in the fold and a couple of players from last year departing, Donald Flores has been a steadying force.
An alumni of the first Future150 NY camp, The 6-foot-1 combo guard broke out in his sophomore year; and has taken his game to another level in this one. New additions to the team have allowed him to play more of his natural position of point guard.
On Sunday afternoon, the Railsplitters knocked off Shamorie Ponds and Jefferson for the Brooklyn Borough title. With the city championship on the horizon, Flores will need to take yet another step up in his game in order for Lincoln to win a city title and get ready for states.
UNC-W has already offered him, and a number of other schools are showing interest. Look for him to continue to rack up offers and interest as he continues to lead Lincoln in the state playoffs and later when he hits the AAU circuit.
