New Orleans, LA (Future150) -- While he is still making the transition to point guard full-time, there is no denying the natural talent of Dominic Magee. At the Reebok Breakout Classic, Magee proved to be one of the top players, leading his team and being a primary scorer as well. The 6-foot-4 guard is a natural athlete and has learned to use his physical gifts to make him a better lead guard.
He has a natural ability to score the rock and that combined with his underrated passing ability make him an incredibly dangerous weapon. His is an above average shooter and super-quick with the ball in his hands. Magee is a matchup nightmare who will cause defenses serious problems at both the high school and college level.
Maybe thats why LSU, UCLA, Alabama, Oklahoma, Houston, Memphis, Louisville, Louisiana Tech, Tulane, Tulsa, Minnesota, Auburn, Oral Roberts, Arizona and Texas A&M have all extended offers to the talented combo guard. Magee can already be a lethal scorer and is always getting better as a point guard. He will be a huge problem in an up-tempo offense and could be a go-to scorer down the road.
Magee will take two visits this fall, one to Memphis, the other to Oklahoma State. The talented guard had plenty to say about the Cowboys during the first live period, but with more suitors involved now, the process looks like it may go on awhile longer. Whoever garners a signature from Magee will be getting a guard with the potential to be one of the top players in the country during his college career.
