New York, NY (Future150) -- The class of 2017 is shaping up to be a very good one, with tons of talent at every position. The wing position is arguably the most talented, and Dematha product DJ Harvey sits near the top of that list.
With offers from over 25 high-major programs, Harvey realizes that the recruiting process can get hectic in a hurry.
"Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Villanova, UCLA, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Miami, N.C. State, there's so many, the list just keeps going," said Harvey.
The 6-foot-7 wing is hoping to get down to Duke, UNC, and N.C. State this fall, and then hopefully out to Arizona later on in the season.
There has been some talk about Harvey's parents moving to Arizona, potentially giving the Wildcats an unexpected advantage, but Harvey was quick to dispel that notion.
"I mean it's still possible, but most likely they will end up moving close to wherever I end up playing," he said.
While family ties are important him, with his family planning on ending up close to him regardless, it doesn't appear it will be a major factor in his recruitment.
For now, he is more focused on winning an elusive WCAC title, and performing well on the national stage. Look for Harvey to cut his list down sometime in the near future.
