DeKalb, MS (Future150) -- The biggest recruit on the market in the 2012 class has finally come to a college decision.
After announcing his intentions Friday afternoon, Kemper County High School (Miss.) forward Devonta Pollard is heading to Alabama to play his college basketball.
Pollard is the Tide's first commitment for 2012, and he will be able to play immediately for Anthony Grant's squad.
Look for the 6-foot-8 forward to bring scoring to a team that has lacked offensive power the past few seasons. His long arms will also fit hand-in-hand with Grant's defensive focus.
He chose Alabama over LSU, Missouri, Georgetown, and Texas.
Pollard is one of the poster-boys for Future150. He attended our camps for three years, where he received his initial media coverage.
