Charlottesville, VA (Future150) -- UVA and Tony Bennett have landed standout point guard Devon Hall. After trying to land an elite point guard in the class of 2012 and missing, they pulled through and landed a top prospect at the position. What makes this commitment even more sweeter is that Hall has reclassed from 2014 to 2013, meaning he will bring his elite size and vision to Charlottesville a year early.
Hall also held offers from the likes of Florida, Maryland, Georgia, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Winthrop, Oregon State, Miami, and Memphis. At 6-foot-5 he is massive for the position and uses his height to see the floor better and picks apart the defense.
This is a great start for the Cavaliers in the class of 2013 and should greatly boost their efforts to the top of the ACC.
