Church View, VA (Future150) -- Florida added to their solid 2014 recruiting class on Wednesday with the commitment of Christchurch (Va.) forward Devin Robinson.
At 6-foot-8, Robinson had one of the biggest summers of any prospect, making huge climbs up rankings and onto college coaches’ radar.
Now, Robinson will have the opportunity to play under Hall of Fame coach Billy Donovan at Florida.
“I felt comfortable with the coaching staff,” Robinson told Future150.com. “Coach [Billy] Donovan is a Hall of Fame coach who has a history of getting players my size and position to the NBA. That is my ultimate goal.”
The Virginia native chose the Gators over Indiana, Connecticut, Oklahoma State, and Notre Dame.
Robinson joins Chris Chiozza (21) and Brandone Francis (31) as Florida’s three-man class.
Robinson is a four-star and ranked No. 46 in the 2014 Future150 rankings.
