Orlando, FL (Future150) -- When Murray State was able to land 2013 SG DeMarcus Croaker it was seen by many a major get for the OVC program. The Racers where unable to keep the services of the talented swingman however, as Croaker recently announced he would be looking elsewhere.
The electric guard can put up points in a hurry, as he proved during the AAU circuit with Florida Elite, formerly known as the Florida Rams. While Kasey Hill and Chris Walker where the headliners of the team, Croaker showed he belonged as a high level shooting guard.
Already known as a high level athlete, Croaker showed an improved shooting stroke this past year and had programs such as Marquette and Texas hard after him before choosing the Racers.
Now it seems as though Texas has picked up right where they left off, as DeMarcus has already named them his leader and plans on visiting for their tilt against Baylor on Monday. He has also mentioned Ole Miss as well, but don't be surprised if he doesn't commit right away again; giving more programs time to jump in.
In a spring signing period that looks as though it might be a little thin on the wing as far as top level talent, expect Croaker to draw some serious attention.
