McKinney, TX (Future150) -- Championship Sunday at the Primetime Tournament had several close games. New players sparkled on the tournament's second day and made the list for top players on Sunday
Middle School
Tre Carolina (OKC Flight 2019) Shifty guard that breaks down defenders with his quick crossover. Possesses a solid floater once he gets into the lane.
Trey Oliver (Team Xtreme 2020) Quick guard that was a force on the defensive end. Mainly scores in transition but creates his points off steals and defensive rebounds
Lewis Greenard (Team Xtreme 2020) Greenard battled with Jaedon Slack in the championship game. He gave almost nothing in the early stages, as he battled foul trouble. Greenard came back in the second half with a double-double. Greenard is a very strong rebounder and finisher.
Jaedon Slack (Team EAT 2020) Led his team in a late comeback in the championship game to tie the game and send it to overtime for victory. Put a smaller guard in the post and was shooting left handed hook shots. Becoming a more all-around player.
MVP
Anthony Nealon (Team Eclipse 2019) The combo guard displayed great speed with the ball in his hands. Nealon might have been the fastest guard in the whole middle school division. Nealon leans too much on his right hand, but employs good ball control and excellent speed. He scored at will Sunday. Day 2 MVP.
High School
Luke Cox (Texas Elite Adidas) Cox was on a tear this weekend and scored 32 points in a game. Cox is a great shooter that displayed more of his ballhandling abilities on Sunday.
Cortlandt Brooks (Team EAT 2018) Brooks is a forward that was a beast on the boards this weekend. The solid ball handling abilities makes him a strong player. He uses one to two dibbles to score. Brooks has a high motor and constantly competes.
Noah Lucas (Express Black 2017) Lucas is a point guard that plays with a high basketball IQ. He doesn't force the issue on offense and knows what to do when he get into the lane. Lucas made smart passes on Day 2 and scored when needed.
Ashley Mukendi (The Nation 2018) The 6'6" forward dominated on defense on Sunday. He was solid offensively, but on the boards and help side defense was superb.
MVP
Richard Turner (Texas Elite Adidas 2016) Turner was the best player, as he scored at a high level the whole day. Several times he recorded ten straight for his team. Turner gets to the free throw line at a high rate. He is just a great one-on-one scorer. Turner earned Primetime Sports Day 2 MVP.
