Nashville, TN (Future150) --
North Carolina traditionally has its share of high-major and division one players. It seems that every year, a player appears out of nowhere to prove he is one of the top guys in the state. This could be the year that 2015 small forward David Reynolds does just that.

The talented wing is skilled enough to play both small forward or shooting guard, and even a little power forward given the matchup. Regarded as a shooter, Reynolds spent the weekend of the Future150 National Top 20 Camp proving he was much more than that.

His full offensive arsenal was on display. He scored on the low block, hit turnaround jumpers, and showcased a floater that few players employ these days.

At 6-foot-6, he has prototypical size for the wing. Reynolds is a smart player that understands how to get open and get his shot off over smaller defenders. On the defensive end he knows how to beat his man to a spot and rarely picks up fouls. This is what he had to say about his Future150 camp experience:

“It was a great exposure opportunity, with a ton of D1 prospects and guys from all over the country. Now I know what it takes to become known nationally. The staff knew what they were talking about and that resulted in a great national camp.”

The Ravenscroft (NC) wing is also a standout off the court. Academically he has the grades to play almost anywhere and will be sought after by the Ivy League as well as high academic programs at all levels. First, however, he is looking to win a state title, among other goals.

“My goals for this season are to lead my team deep into the state playoffs and become an All-State player." He said.

There are plenty of schools already tracking David. Stanford, Boston, Creighton, Lafayette, Loyola (MD), American, Holy Cross, Princeton, and Cornell are all showing various amounts of interest.

Look for that list to expand greatly before he trims things down and ultimately makes a decision.
