High Point, NC (Future150) -- David Caraher out of Chapel Hill, NC had a huge summer on and off the court.
On the court Caraher enjoyed a nice summer playing with Team Loaded (VA) on the Adidas Gauntlet. Off the court David decided to decommit from Butler and re-open his recruitment.
He made another huge decision when he decided to transfer to Wesleyan Christian Academy for his final two years of high school.
"(These decisions) are just moving me up to the next step with my game," said Caraher. "Taking the next step academically and athletically, playing here at Wesleyan I get to go against some great competition with some bigger guys."
His mindset and goals have changed a little bit since transferring to Wesleyan from Chapel Hill High School.
"I definitely want to win a state championship while I'm here," said Caraher. "I really believe we have the talent, and coaching staff to make a good run on that. I really want to prove myself as a (wing) player. Just working on getting good shots off ball-screens, and working on isolations, getting my own shots. Overall just working in this offense, playing with these big time guys will help me transition a lot easier when I go off to college."
Change of Direction
The decommit from Butler may have came to a surprise by many, but it's all about giving every school a chance to recruit.
