Hayward, CA (Future150) -- 2017 Splash City PG Damari Milstead is a true playmaker and has steadily become a better overall shooter. His improvements has led to an offer list consisting of 16 schools including, Florida Gulf Coast, Nevada, Oregon State, and USC among others.

Even though his recruiting trail has increased recently, Milstead still would like to see an uptick in the interest and offers he has been receiving lately.

"Schools like Cal, Oregon State, USC, St. Mary's, and Nevada are the ones that have really been coming on recently," Milstead said. "But you know I'm hoping to have a good spring and summer, and really blow up."

The pipeline in the west coast is usually a strong one with recruits as plenty of prospects decide to stay close to home despite having offers from all over the country. Milstead's recruitment may follow the same path.

"I do look at schools all over the country, but I think my style of play will go to a West Coast school this year," Milstead said. "So I'm going to be looking a lot more at those schools, because that's where I know I'm going to fit best at the collegiate level."

So for now it seems that the schools from California that have offered Milstead may have the upperhand, continue to follow Future150 as we continue to track his progress and recruitment.
