Hazleton, PA (Future150) -- Class of 2018 SG Jeff Planutis of Hazleton Area (PA) is heading into his final high school season with just a single division one offer to his name, and he's ready to prove he can contribute to a division one program and that he's worthy of more looks.
"It's amazing that the 6'5" wing prospect currently only holds a single division one scholarship offer," Future150 GM Eric Hampford previously stated. "He can score from all three levels with ease and has all the tools to be an effective college player down the road."
Planutis' lone offer hails from Mount St. Mary's, where his older brother is currently on scholarship. With a very solid 3.72 GPA, it seems that he favors higher academic programs in the northern regions.
"I would really like to see a Lafayette offer," Planutis said. "Any school like that would be great, but I really like them specifically."
It's hard to ignore his solid measurements, athleticism, and smooth scoring abilties from all three levels. Any LM D1's in search for a wing, look no further.
"Really, any division one school I'd be happy to look at it if they're interested. It's nice to have options."
Continue to follow along with Future150 as we continue to track Planutis' recruitment process throughout his senior year.
