Rex, GA (Future150) -- 2018 point guard Collins Joseph of New Faith Christian Academy (GA) has blew up over the summer and fall after dominating at multiple Future150 exposure camps. Now that his final season of high school is about to start up, it's time to college coaches to start taking notice!
"I realized that in order to play at the next level, I had to work harder," Joseph said when asked what he did this summer to take his game to the next level. "I worked hard on my mid-range jumper, and most importanlty, my three-point shot."
It seems that the ridiculous athleticism and smooth ball-handling abilities have always been there for him, but now that he's added a jumper to his arsenal that the defense is forced to respect, it has really bumped his stock up. There is certainly no doubt that Joseph has the athleticism, competitiveness, and overall skill set to contribute at a division one program somewhere. This is not to say he is a mid/high-major recruit, but the fact that this young man doesn't even have a low-major offer, much less interest, is mind-boggling.
As it stands right now, Joseph claims to hold some offers from the DII, DIII, and JUCO departments but that is going to have to change very soon. Even though he's a team-first guy, and wants to see him and his squad go out on top to close out his high school career, he knows what one of the most important goals is for himself as his senior season overlooks the horizon.
"...Getting a division one offer is the most important thing," Joseph said.
Stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track Joseph's senior season as well as his recruitment process.
