Future150 was back on the road again and in Houston, TX for the PrimeTime Sports Clutch City Classic.  The tournament featured a wide range of age groups varying from 2015-2021 players competing for national exposure.

Bracket play started on Sunday at the MI3 Center and the competion started to get heated.  Here are the top performers from Sunday during bracket play.

Deven Gould, 2016 PF, Kingwood Mustangs: Gould floats around the court.  He showed off some lateral mobility and impressive balance Sunday.  His team does not ask him to shoot from deep, but his agility suggests he could compete at the small forward spot.

Jalon Lathon, 2016 PG, 365 Elite: Lathon exhibited great feet Sunday.  He defends with honor.  In the final minute of a tight game, Lathon earned a jump ball by wrapping up in the halfcourt trap.  The guard works very hard and deserves the heavy minutes he gets.

Nathan Bradley, 2016 PG, Texas Inferno Black: Desparate for production because of their short Sunday bench, Texas Inferno Black saw their prayers answered by Bradley and Prewitt.  Bradley dumped in 26 points (5-6 FT's) to advance TI to the semifinals.  Bradley is very fast with the dribble.  He can knock down shots or slash to the tin.  He draws fouls, but needs to finish off a couple hoop and the harm plays.

Taylor Thomas, 2017 C, 365 Elite: Thomas showed touch to 8' and in.  At 6'3" he is woefully undersized for a college post, but Thomas looks capable of leading his high school program.  His only deficiency is against massive, weighty defenders.  They tend to body him off the boards.  He needs to show more confidence in his post up game, because he has good feet and touch.  He already shows amazing finishing touches in close.

Aziz Fadika, 2016 C ,Texas Inferno Black: Fadika might of been the best overall prospect we saw on the weekend.  He was a force all weekend long.  Fadika was blocking shots, rebounding, and finishing in the paint.  Even though he is a bit raw and rough around the edges, he has the size and length to play at a low D1 school as a four man. On Sunday, in bracket play, he contributed 23 points, 21 rebounds, and five blocks in a big win to advance his team.

Parker Powell, 2017 SG, Katy HoopStars: Just like yesterday Powell infused every game with energy.  He can score from every point on the floor.  His 5'10" frame requires Powell to get off the floor in traffic.  He has the beginnings of a muscular upper body, but will need to keep tacking on the weight.

Chase Cobb, 2016 SG, Texas Inferno Red: Cobb can score the rock in a variety of ways especially from deep.  He was one of the top 3-point shooters we saw over the weekend.  He loves pulling up from deep off the fast break and burying the 3-point ball.  He is fundamental, smart and love competing.

Alec Friend, 2017 SG, Katy HoopStars: Friend is very patient offensively.  He never forces a shot, despite his ability to score in bunches.  On the defensive end Friend hangs around and fulfills his obligations.  He does not leak out.  Overall, Friend is a team-oriented shooting guard with range.

Ladarius Anthony, 2018 PG, Houston Kings: Anthony is a pass first point guard who has a good feel and makes all the correct passes.  He has long arms and a wiry frame which allows him to guard multiple positions on the floor.  He loves using the euro step when attacking the rim both in the half and full courts.  Tons of upside to his game.

Tynerion Jackson, 2017 PF, T.U.A.C. Warriors: The big combo forward is very raw.  He has a powerful frame and finishes around the tin.  The biggest weakness of Jackson is his perimeter defense, and for that reason he will never play SF at the college level.  He could develop into a multi-faceted combo forward.  Jackson will have to work very hard on his game to reach the pinnacle of collegiate athletics, D1.

Jeremiah Hernandez, 2017 SF, WAR: In the open floor Hernandez thrives.  He is good against guards in traffic and finishes over most players his height.  During this event he was unable to match up against 6'5" defenders.  For him to get a fair evaluation he will have to play against some taller athletes at his position.  Hernandez looks to be a wing starter in high school, maybe beyond.

B.J. Staten, 2017 SF, WAR:  The wing can shoot a bit or defend the post.  His conditioning must improve, but the skills are ready to shine through.  Staten is capable of hitting the mid-range shot.  Slashing is not a strength.  He probably projects as a scoring wing that can defend in 2-3 zone or on the blocks.  Perimeter defense will be a challenge until Staten gets quicker.

LaDerrious Arvie, 2017 C, WAR: LaDerrious showed he could consistently block and alter shots defensively.  Offensively, he finished strong around the rim.  Arvie needs to work on his conditioning, but his feet are pretty nimble.

Nate Dickey, 2018 SF, Cut The Nets:  Dicky is a big-bodied small forward who uses his power game to score the rock.  He is like a bull in a china shop when he has the ball in his hands.  On defense, he is relentless and never gives up on a play.  His tenacious play helped his team to big wins.  He scored off turnovers in bunches.

Anthony Nash, 2017 PF, Faction Basketball Academy: F.B.A. brought an athletic squad including Nash.  They advanced with rebounding prowess and length.  Nash is 6'6" and plays bigger.  He needs to refine his post moves, but has decent footwork.  It just lacks polish and direction.
