Winston-Salem, NC (Future150) -- Class of 2017 PF Zaire Williams of Winston-Salem Prep caught up with Future150 after a very productive summer. For those who are not familiar with him, Williams is a 6'8 four man that has great strength in the post and crashes the boards on both ends extremely well. He runs the floor superbly for a big man and has continually improved his versatility on the offensive end.
"I really improved on my jumpshot this summer, and my confidence in my shot is high right now," Williams said. "Heading into my senior year I am working on toning my body and getting stronger and faster. Really just conditioning, overall."
Standing at 6'8, and becoming more of a versatile threat on the court has led to a bit of a pick up in Williams recruitment lately.
"Georgia Southern, Marshall, Robert Morris, UNC-Charlotte, and UNC-Wilmington have really been recruiting me hard," Williams said. "Georgia Southern and UNC-Wilmington have stuck out to me and I plan to take (official) visits to both of them soon."
He also has offers from Bowling Green, Charleston, Maryland-Eastern, Old Dominion, Radford, and VMI. With senior year approaching, Williams has some big decisions to make.
Continue to follow along with Future150 as we track Williams recruitment process throughout his final year at Winston-Salem Prep.
