Hartford, KY (Future150) -- 2017 PG Connor Wilson of Ohio County (KY) has been having a stellar Junior season and D1's are starting to keep their eyes on him. He already holds an offer from North Texas and has seen interest from plenty of others lately.
"The schools that have been recruiting me the longest, have started to become more interested," Said Wilson. "The interest I've been recieving is from Southern Miss, Arkansas-Little Rock, UT-Martin, and Austin Peay."
Wilson holds season averages of 14 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game right now, so this shows what kind of PG he is. Wilson loves to do a little bit of everything and has a great work ethic, he is one of those guys that does whatever it takes to get the win.
"His work ethic is off the charts," Said Wilson's trainer, Greg Keown. "Most days he works out before and after his team practice."
This type of ethic is what college coaches love to see, and his demeanor seems to translate off the court as well.
"He has several kids he mentors during workouts that really look up to him," Said Keown. "He always wants to be the best he can be, but he also wants to give back to the next generation of hoopers in his area. That's just the kind of kid he is."
