Gilbert, AZ (Future150) -- It's looking like BYU is becoming more and more of a destination for high profile west coast kids.
Lone Peak High School (UT), one of the hottest high school teams in the nation right now, already has three commitments to the Cougars from nationally ranked prospects Nick Emery, Eric Mika, and T.J. Haws.
Future150 ranked 2013 prospects Mika and Emery come in at #52 and #62 currently in our latest rankings.
Their junior teammate, T.J. Haws, comes in at #56 in our latest evaluations of the junior class, making that three high major prospects inked to BYU for the future.
It looks like other west coast kids are following suit. Gilbert Highland High School (AZ) 2014 star Jake Toolson has committed to the Cougars for his college career.
The three-star 6'5" swingman picked BYU over offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Utah State, UC-Davis, and St. Mary's, among others.
He is currently averaging over 18 points per game for the Hawks, and his commitment could help lure Future150's #43 prospect in 2014, Phoenix star Payton Dastrup, to BYU as well.
The Moutain View High School (AZ) power forward already holds offers from BYU, Florida, Utah, Arizona, and Arizona State, among others, and is close friends with Toolson. Stay tuned to Future150 for updates.
