Germantown, WI (Future150) -- Bobby Hurley hasn't coached a game at Buffalo yet, but he is already making waves on the recrutiing trail.
Tuesday night, he landed a commitment from Germantown High School (WI) point guard Lamonte Bearden. The 6-foot-2 floor general is an instant impact recruit for the Bulls, and has the potential to be a terror in the Mid-American Conference for the duration of his career.
He chose the Bulls over the likes of Oregon State, Saint Louis, and San Francisco. He is a high major recruit, that much is certain after his tremendous summer on the AAU circuit.
Academics were rumored to have scared off some high major programs, which left the Bulls with an absolute steal in the 2014 class.
Bearden is a crafty scorer who can get baskets several ways. He also has excellent ball skills and has a tendency to perform best when the stage is biggest.
Look for him to slide into our national rankings during our next update.
