Seneca, SC (Future150) -- 2017 CG Brevin Galloway (Charleston Commit) of Seneca (SC) recently decided that he will be reclassifying to the 2017 class and will attend a prep school next season. The decision comes at a time in Galloway's career that makes perfect sense. Considering he lost basically his entire junior season to injury (both high school and AAU), he has a year of production to make up for.
"They (Charleston) had limited scholarships for the 2016 class, and they need post players because a lot are graduating this year," Galloway said. "So Chevez gets that one scholarship so they'll have some post players coming in next year."
So now Galloway will be looking for a prep school to attend next year before he officially starts his college career. The situation right now is very young, and seems to be wide open when it comes to where he will be going.
"Right now I'm not really sure, they have a lot of preps that want," Galloway said. "Hargrave, Sunrise, Notre Dame Prep, and 22 Feet are just the few that I know of. My coach said they'll be visiting some, and start talking to them more as the season comes to an end."
It will be very interesting to see what prep school adds Galloway's services, as he should be someone who can step in and become the main scoring option from day one.
Stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track Galloway's process of choosing a prep school very closely.
