Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Playing on the eventual EYBL champion Georiga Stars team, Brandon Robinson was the forgotten man from time to time. That being said, the days of Robinson not being spoken about are numbered.
The 6-foot-6 wing is incredibly versatile, making the top 100 recruit highly sought after despite not being the focal point on a loaded Stars squad. Ultimately it came down to FSU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville and UNC as his finalists.
With the ability to guad all three perimeter positions, Robinson looks as though he could be a lock down defender down the line. Mix in the fact that he can score on all three levels, and it's easy to see why he was so highly coveted.
After taking visits to all of the programs on his list, Robinson decided to end his recruitment on Monday afternoon; committing to UNC.
The Tar Heels needed a commitment to build on the momentum that Tony Bradley gave them. With pending sanctions facing the program, it's important that they lock down a talented 2016 class. With Justin Jackson projected to head to the NBA this season, Robinson's commitment becomes all the more important.
This high school season, Robinson will go back to being the focal point of the offense. Look for him to prove that he is ready to play major minutes in his first season, as well as climb up the national rankings.
