Inglewood, CA (Future150) -- Last week, it was thought Brandon Randolph was headed to Xavier. However, he denied the commitment and a weekend visit to Missouri insued.
Nevertheless, Tuesday afternoon, Randolph reaffirmed his commitment to the Musketeers and made it official.
"I'm going to Xavier," the 6-foot-1 scoring point guard said.
A one time Pepperdine-commit, Randolph says Chris Mack's coaching staff won him over.
"I felt comfortable with the coaches," he explained. "I trust them on playing me the correct way."
For quite some time, Randolph has been notorious for his high-octane scoring ability from the point guard position. Under Mack, expect him to continue to show his scoring ability. His threat should bring opportunities for others.
"My strengths are scoring and making others better."
Randolph gives the Musketeers their third commitment in the past two weeks, as fellow senior Kamall Richards and 2014 athlete Melvin Swift both pledged as well.
