Eugene, OR (Future150) -- The Oregon Ducks already had an awesome recruiting class coming in next year with national recruits Lou King, Miles Norris & Will Richardson. However, Monday afternoon their class went to a whole new level with the addition of five-star big man Bol Bol. With him now in the fold, they have the #1 class in the country.
We've said it before. The 7'2" big man and top five prospect in the country is the most unique prospect we've scouted in the almost eight years that we've been covering prospects across the country at the high school level. By now, you already know that he's the son of former NBA player Manute Bol. However, what makes his game so captivating is the fact that he has such polished perimeter skills for a player so big.
One reason that the Findlay Prep (NV) big man decided to pledge and sign with Oregon instead of the Kentucky Wildcats is that he'll be able to put all his skills to use, in a variety of ways on the floor.
The excitement level for the Ducks next season will be at an all-time high, as it's expected that he'll only be playing Pac-12 basketball for one season before putting his name into the 2019 NBA Draft.
He's an impressive shot-blocker with fantastic instincts and great feel on the floor. He can handle the ball in the open floor and has no trouble knocking down perimeter shots, even off-the-dribble at nearly 7'2".
