Hokes Bluff, AL (Future150) -- In a bit of a surprise, 2014 center Isaac Haas of Hokes Bluff (AL) picked the Purdue Boilermakers over UAB and Wake Forest on Monday morning, he announced via Twitter.

"After a gruelling week of no sleep, and constant wars within myself. I've come to a decision!"

"#BoilerUp and I'm excited to play next year in the Big Ten and make my mark on history!!"

After holding off on signing a letter of intent to Wake Forest on Friday, the school which he committed to in September, there were whispers that he wanted to stay closer to home, which gave UAB some momentum heading into this week.

He even went as far as to take an official visit to UAB's campus this past weekend, but it was all for nothing.

After being visited by Purdue head coach Matt Painter last Friday, and becoming keen of the school's academics and ability to put post prospects into the NBA, Haas became sold on the B1G school.

He is a massive post prospect at 7-foot-1, 270-pounds who will make big strides in West Lafayette. He has soft hands, is surprisingly mobile, and can score with either hand on the low block.

The #84 prospect in the country joins fellow ranked prospects Vince Edwards (#111) and Dakota Mathias (#133) in Pudue's 2014 class. They also have a commitment from 6-foot-9, high upside big man Jacquil Taylor as well, who is a fringe top 150 prospect.
