Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- The Memphis Hoopers were crowned champions of the 17U Silver Bracket on Sunday afternoon, giving them their third straight championship since 2012 at the event. In a hard fought game, they took down the Alabama Truth by a score of 66-62.

Here are some standouts who caught our eye in the Silver Division in Birmingham...

Malik Cook, 2015 PG, Alabama Flames: A local star at Homewood High School (AL), the 6-foot-1 point man is a scoring guard at heart. He has an excellent frame, one which he uses to score points in a hurry on all three levels. He has a tight handle and loves to get up an down the floor in transition as well. Low-major schools would be wise to give him a serious look heading into summer.

Ryan Scruggs, 2015 SG, Alabama Truth: Although he lists himself as a shooting guard, Ryan has the feel and skill of a point guard as well, making him a productive prospect on the floor. He has good size at 6'2" and has good athleticism as well. Great feel for the game and good passer too.

Jonathan Etheridge, 2015 PG, Alabama Select: The Ramsay (AL) guard is a 5-foot-7 electric guard who can get to the basket against any defender, at any time. He is a crafty finisher around the basket and understands when to attack and when to run the offense.

Zach McDaniel, 2015 SF, WKY Elite: The 6-foot-7 forward has the skills to become a major matchup problem over the next few years. He has the ability to bang on the low block but can also stretch the defense with his perimeter shooting. He will play at Hargrave Military Academy (VA) next year, where his skills should continue to blossom.

Robert Atkins, 2014 SF, Memphis Hoopers: The 6-foot-5 small forward has all the tools to become a contributor at the next level. He has ideal height, a good base of skills, and good athleticism as well. Once he puts some work into his perimeter shooting, he will become a very hard offensive player to stop.

Z'Anthony Williams, 2015 SF, TNA Heat: The 6-foot-5 forward is more of a combination forward at this point, but has the tools to become a true wing in the future. He has good athleticism, quick burst off the floor, and rebounds the ball well. If he improves his ball skills and perimeter shot, he will become a dangerous prospect.

Jarvier Farmer, 2015 SF, Memphis Disciples: The 6-foot-1 wing is a crafty scorer, especially around the rim. He has excellent body control and is also capable of handling the basketball for streches as well. He locks in on the defensive side of the ball and makes smart decisions on offense.

K.J. Bates, 2014 SG, Memphis Hoopers: One of the best unsigned 2014 prospects you will find in the Southeast, the Arlington (TN) guard is a high volume scorer who can get hot in a hurry. With offers from Southeast Missouri State, Middle Tennessee State, and Abilene Christian, it's easy to see why low-major schools have interest in the scorer. High character kid as well.
