New Orleans, LA (Future150) -- It's been a long and crazy summer for 2016 New Orleans point guard Lamar Peters, who has picked up several offers after playing at a high level this AAU season.
Starting at Future150's "The Summit" Camp in early June, buzz began to build on the New Orleans Elite guard, who uses blazing speed and excellent court vision to showcase his best skills.
Here is what we had to say about him after he was rated as the #12 overall prospect at the camp based on his performance:
"Peters is very creative with the ball in his hands and possesses great athleticism, speed, and agility. Combine all of that together and he is a problem on the offensive end of the floor. He uses his speed and ball-handling ability to get to the rim and slash through the defense. He is yet another high-major talent from the New Orleans area."
Since camp, the Landry-Walker (LA) product has picked up offers from Baylor, DePaul, Mississippi State, Richmond & South Carolina. It's hard for high major programs not to like Peters, who plays with flair and toughness each and every time he takes the floor.
Alabama is also showing serious interest in the 6-foot-1 floor general, and you can expect more HM suitors to check him out this season in the Bayou.
