Harrisburg, PA (Future150) -- The buzz started building in central Pennsylvania when he was a rising ninth grader, and now it's reaching a deafening tone for 2016 combo guard Bud Mack.
An outstanding sophomore season has not only intensified his recruitment, but it has also given him the distinction as one of the best 2016 prospects in the state of Pennsylvania.
Mack has led the Tribe of Susquehanna Township (PA) to a 21-7 record so far this season, including a District 3-AAA Championship, where he earned MVP honors in the tournament after averaging 21 points per game through four games.
He has continued his late season surge in the PIAA state playoffs, averaging 19 points per game and leading his team into the quarterfinals this Friday night.
"I want to stay consistent throughout the rest of the season and win a state championship," he told Future150.
His standout play has landed him interest from several division one programs, including Boston University, Bucknell, Mount St. Mary's, Drexel, Temple, Holy Cross, Radford, Norfolk State & Loyola.
Heading into AAU season, Mack will be running with Team Pennsylvania, a strong central PA based squad with several division one prospects. Look for them to make some noise on the Under Armour circuit this summer, and stay tuned to Future150 for details on the talented sophomore.
