Manhattan, KS (Future150) -- Today the focus is on those who have given their pledges to Kansas State University. They will be the only Big XII school in Kansas reviewed, since Kansas does not have any commits yet for the current class.

The Wildcats have four committed early with Eric Cobb, Barry Brown, Dean Wade and Dante Williams. Only Cobb has not signed his official Letter of Intent to start his college career in Manhattan.

Cobb, a 6-foot-9 240-pound post, is a skilled power forward with solid footwork in the paint. He handles it well for someonehsi size. He makes the right decision when a double team is thrown at him. The forward combines power and a finesse, which makes him a problem inside. Cobb needs a consistent mid range jumper but it's coming along.

Barry Brown is a good pickup for the Wildcats as he gives them a physical guard that mainly looks to attack the rim. Most guards that attack the rim usually do not have a consistent jumpshot, but that's not the case for Brown. He is lethal off the catch-and-shoot. He also has a good pull-up jumper. Can he make the transition to point guard at the next level? Will Kansas State use him as a small 2-guard at 6'2"?

Dean Wade is the first in-state signee for Kansas State since 2012.  Wade is more of a stretch forward, who can put the ball on the floor and shoot the three at a high percentage.

Williams is a 6-foot-10 post out of Arlington, Texas and is an underrated center. His athleticism and length makes him a threat on defense especially playing help-side defense. He has a solid jumpshot but needs to be more consistent.  Adding bulk to his frame will enable him to be a rotation player for KSU.

With four commits, Kansas State was productive in the early recruiting process and brought in prospects that bring something different to the team.
