Huntersville, NC (Future150) -- 2017 CF Ben Topp of Hough (NC) has had some big time performances this season including a game where he dropped 39 points on 19/19 from the field. No that was not a typo. Topp has continued to get stronger and play more aggresive which has allowed him to get better and start to look like nothing short of a D1 basketball prospect.

The Future150 Alum stands about 6'7 and can score from mid-range and in with ease. His leadership abilities and aggresiveness around the rim have been questioned at times previously in his career. Those doubts can safely be put to rest as Topp has all but put those weaknesses behind him.

"I've really just gained more confidence in myself and my scoring abilities," Topp said. "My teammates helped me realize that I can be a great player if I just believe in myself."

Now that he has gained ultimate confidence in himself, Topp is looking to improve his skillset and add even more skills to his offensive repitiore heading into his final summer of AAU basketball.

"I want to expand my range out to the three point line," Topp said. "I also really want to improve on my abilities to drive the lane, and my handling as well."

If he adds these skills to his game, Topp could turn into a true versatile weapon that would be able to play the two, three, and the four. Something college coaches always love to see. Continue to follow along with Future150 as we track Topp's progress heading into the 2016 AAU season.
