Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Yet another talented Georgia prospect has made his commitment to a Division-1 school.
Sunday afternoon, Bakari Copeland, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Arabia Mountain (GA), made his commitment to the USC Upstate Bears.
"I feel like they have a great plan for me," Copeland told Future150.com following his commitment.
The athletic shooter took an official visit to Spartanburg prior to his commitment, and, apparently, that visit was all he needed. Not only did he get to know the team, but it also opened his eyes for the future.
"I like the campus a lot. And the coaches and players are really cool," he explained. "I also feel that they will produce a great future for me after college basketball."
Copeland chose USC Upstate over Southern University and UT-Martin. He is a two-star in the 2013 Future150 Rankings.
