Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- After de-committing from USC-Upstate a few months ago, 2013 Arabia Mountain (GA) wing Bakari Copeland saw his recruitment make a big spike, as many high-major schools showed interest in him.
However, Copeland decided on Monday that he wouldn't travel far from home to go to school. After much thought, the senior will attend Charleston Southern.
"The coaches know my game and they have a great plan for me," he told Future150.com. "They immediately made me feel like family."
Copeland is also expected to come in and play immediately, a reason the Bucs stook out to him.
"They think I will come in and make a big impact. I was the only one being recruited at my position. They have big plans for me."
The 6-foot-5 wing man was also considering Texas A&M and Jackson State.
Copeland is a two-star according to Future150.
