Richland, TX (Future150) -- After watching games in the Metroplex, Houston, and Future150 Texas has seen some high level basketball. The next series shifts to my top backcourt players in Texas.
Today focuses on Richland High School and their backcourt of 2016 guard Jordan Ford and 2017 guard C.J. Roberts.
Roberts is a favorite guard to watch in Texas and especially in the 2017 class. Ford is an explosive scorer that can put 20 points on any given night.
Ford (10 ppg) verbally committed to Stephen F. Austin.
Roberts, who has offers from Illinois, TCU and SMU. He is averaging 14 points per game and has showcased more of his playmaking abilities when playing the point guard position this year.
Also, note Zac Graves, a solid, tough senor point guard who is a smart passer and produces all-around good stats gets the offense set up and shown to be the team's leader in games.
Richland, who has a 8-6 record has gone through a tough schedule, most notably with the showdown against Admon Gilder and Madison High School and Cedar Hill High School which both ended with loses.
Stay tuned for more coverage on the top backcourts Texas has to offer.
