Pasadena, CA (Future150) -- On Friday night, Arizona flexed its recruiting muscle in the state of California, reeling in a commitment from 2015 guard Tyler Dorsey.

The St. John Bosco (CA) prospect will be an immediate contributor for head coach Sean Miller and the Wildcats, and has proven over the past few years that he is one of the elite young guards in America.

Currently slated as the #9 prospect nationally in the Future150 rankings, Dorsey is at his best when he taking advantage of his explosive scoring abilities.

Future150 Midwest Analyst Adam Barnes saw Dorsey as recently as last month at the 2013 City of Palms Classic, and this was his take on Dorsey's game.

"He is an excellent scorer who is working to become more of a combo guard. He can put up points in a hurry and will fit perfectly into Sean Miller's offense. At his core, he is a scorer who can distribute the ball as well."

Future150 East Coast Analyst Brian Flinn also saw him at City of Palms, and he really likes his natural ability when playing off-the-ball.

"I really like him more as an elite combo guard than forcing him to be a point guard," he said.

Whatever role the Wildcats use Dorsey in, one thing is clear; Arizona continues to lure elite guards to the desert.
