Boca Raton, FL (Future150) -- Anthony Polite is a 2017 wing guard from Switzerland that now resides in Boca Raton, Florida. After continual improvement and playing with the big dogs on the Under Armour circuit with the Florida Vipers, his recruitment is heating up big time.
Polite's latest offer comes from Miami, while he also lists offers from Binghamton, Boston College, Columbia, Florida International, Florida State, Richmond, UAB, Virginia Tech, and Yale. He's got two other schools he's been hearing from lately, including a blue blood program.
"Alabama has been showing heavy interest for a while, I could see them offering pretty soon," Polite said. "But the latest school I've heard from is Duke, their coaches have been getting in touch with some of my coaches and my dad."
Polite has very good size to play the two guard at the next level, standing a little over 6'5, and he is a true threat to score at every level. His jumper has improved so much to the point that if he's left with any space at all, it's likely going in. His abilities to slash the lane and draw fouls is another big aspect to his rising stock.
While he continues to see new schools pile onto his list of interest and offers, Polite already has a few schools he would like to go visit once the AAU season comes to a wrap.
"I'm probably going to take visits to Florida State, Miami, and UAB as well."
The guard from Switzerland is certainly one of the prospects on the rise in the 2017 class, stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track his progress and recruitment.
