Hernando, MS (Future150) -- Future150's All-Southeast Camp at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia this summer introduced plenty of fresh faces and standouts. Class of 2019 PG Anthony Jackson Jr. of Hernando High School (MS) was one of the most entertaining guards to watch throughout all of camp season.
Even though he doesn't have elite eye-popping measurements like some of the other standout guards at camp, he uses his elite ball-handling abilties and foot speed to create plays for himself and others. Now in his junior year, he's ready to step up as a leader.
"I want to be a vocal team leader, get everyone involved on the floor, and keep everyone motivated and ready to go game in and game out," Jackson said.
As he continues to expand his offensive skills along with his upper-body strength and abiltiies to finish through contact, he's only going to get better. Mississippi is known for producing tough-nosed, productive guards and Jackson could certainly be next in line.
"At this point I'm just focused on improving my game and giving 110% every single day," Jackson said. "Once college coaches get a chance to see my work ethic, hopefully the recruitment process will heat up eventually."
While Jackson continues to focus on getting better and leading his team, continue to follow along with Future150 as we track his progress throughout his junior season.
