CThe Future150 Alabama Main Event was back in Birmingham for a 15th straight year looking for talent from the Southeast. Even though the region is mainly know for its football dominance, basketball has slowly started to make its mark.
In the chamapionship of the division the Shady Grove Raiders beat Team Money Way in a hard fought down the to wire game 60-57.

2024 CG Carlos Moore of the Shady Grove Raiders is a scoring machine and had his full arsenal on display all weekend. He averaged 22 points and 5 assists on the weekend and help lead his team to the 16U Championship win. This combo guard can score on all three levelas and makes it look easy while doing it. He has nothing bup upside to his game.
2024 SG Jaidyn Rankins of Team Clutch is a high volume scorer that finishes well in traffic and shoots the ball with a lot of confidence. His ability to score on different levels makes him a nightmare for competitors. He had multiple 20+ point games this weekend and is a player you should be on the lookout for.
2024 G Jacob Johnson of the Tuscaloosa Onyx is a shifty floor general that can both score, and uses his great court vision to get his teammates involved. Is a quick guard that uses his speed in spurts, he has good patience and can change speeds extremely well. Jacob finished the tournament averaging 15 points and 4 assists.
2024 G/F Giovanni Spencer of Dega Elite is a strong forward who can handle the ball and use his size to finish different ways around the basket. His ball handling helps weave through defenders in the open court. Giovanni is also a dominant force in the paint and uses his strength to make contested shots.
2024 G Caleb Sanders of Team Money Way is a k
nockdown shooter who can shoot from anywhere on the floor. His ability to make threes creates space and driving lanes for his teammates. Caleb also handles the ball well to help him shed defender to create space for his jump shot.
2024 CG Josiah Jones of Birmingham Blaze showed his ability to score the ball in transition at a high level. He’s a jet quick guard that can score at will. He uses his ball handling and quickness to blow by defenders creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. This weekend Josiah averaged 22 points, 3 steals, and 4 assist.
2024 PG Dandrick Green of Team Nola does it all on the floor, his speed and ball-handling helps him breakdown defenders and make plays for his team. Dandrick is a true floor general that looks to get everybody involved while also taking advantage of his own scoring opportunities. He is a pesky defender with quick hands that allow him to get easy steals leading to transition scores.
