Orlando, FL (Future150) -- It looks like christmas may have come a week early for Jim Larranaga and the Miami Hurricanes. On Wednesday, they picked up a commitment to begin their 2014 recruiting class.
Adonys Henriquez, a 6-foot-6 wing, will make the change of scenery from Orlando to Miami, as he gave the Hurricanes an early verbal commitment.
"I think it's a great fit," he told Future150.com. "It's a great city and the coaches are great."
With his athleticism and open-floor play, it was only common sense for the Orlando Christian Prep (FL) star to stay in-state.
"I fit right in with the team's style of play. They push the ball and play a free-style offense. I like that."
Henriquez was also considering Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Clemson, UCF, and Murray State.
He is a three-star according to Future150.com.
