Little Rock, AR (Future150) -- This past weekend was the tenth annual Real Deal in the Rock tournament, held in Little Rock, Arkansas. In the ten years it has been held, there has been plenty of talent that has participated in the event, and this year was no different.
One of the lesser known players who impressed throughout the weekend was 2015 SG Ethan Stair, who also turned in a solid junior year at Hazel Green (AL) during the high school season.
Stair ran with Alabama Elite this weekend, alongside Future150 Alum 2015, combo forward Jaquez Johnson. The duo did damage running the pick-and-roll and Stair showed that he could score from all three levels.
It is easy to see why schools such as Mercer, Lipscomb, Samford, Kennesaw State, High Point, and Tennessee Tech have all extended offers to the 6-foot-5 scoring machine. Schools such as Belmont and Elon have also shown major interest, with bigger programs getting the chance to see the talented wings skills next weekend during the live period.
Stair stated that he will be looking for a program where he will be comfortable with his teammates, as well as good academic school. With his size and shooting ability, don't be surprised to see Stair's recruitment potentially bump up to the next level this spring and summer.
