Jefferson, GA (Future150) -- Jefferson High School (GA) standout Jeshua Kidd is ready for his closeup. The rising senior and class of 2013 player used a solid junior season to help raise his stock as he enters his crucial final season on the recruiting circuit.
Averages of 12 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists per game aren't eye-popping statistics by any means, but coming from an athlete standing only 6'1", it's important to take notice.
Playing out of position with his high school team, the team-first player did everything he could from the power forward position, and is ready to showcase more of a guard's game during his senior season.
A solid shooter with a high basketball IQ, he possesses good court vision and superb ball-handling skills. Those skills aren't lost on college coaches. Newberry, LaGrange, Georgia, Wingate, and Tusculum are showing interest in the combo-forward, and he is taking visits to help him determine where he would fit in best at the college level.
He will be visiting Wingate, Belmont Abbey, and the University of Georiga this summer, while finding time to suit up for the Ballers For Christ AAU team.
While he has no timetable for a college decision, he knows exactly what he wants in his future school.
"I'm looking for a good basketball program, a good theatre program, and good educational experiences."
A college-bound athlete with a solid head on his shoulders. No wonder colleges are starting to line up for Jeshua Kidd.
